I actually like the fact that there are actual signs of the enemy adapting (more projectile based weaponry than melee), it seems they we're lucky that the power structure the enemy has isn't as strong and were gunning on the fact that loyalty to the local director was prioritized over anything else. I could see it work on our world since we do value hostages, but I think it's pretty risky on that world to bet upon as you cannot know for certain if they value hostages as much even if we're going to account the soldiers being under the director.

Though from the looks of the last pages, it'll be chaos as some good actually was dumb enough to shoot. Worse yet it hit the director, and it could mean the soldiers actually ganging up on the wolf dudes out of spite.

A whole army gone just like that, zero casualties on their own side. So maybe the one captured hostage might've gotten killed? Big deal, is it worth losing who knows how many for the sake of TRYING to save one hostage? You killing them all would still count as trying to save him. Don't be a fucking retard.
