@gameriuxlt That's not the same. Punishing desertirs is common among all nations, but nobody just kills their own soldiers on the battlefield.

Hal with his twin spears and fighting style reminds me of Sanada Yukimura from Sengoku Basara; heck even his spears looks like Yukimura's weapons

Right...
At first you really just mean to become an acting leader, yes, you really mean it. But over time you, not forgot, but got used to, adapted, to the situation, where you thought you have to do it, telling yourself to do your best, in many perspective, then before you realized it, you already become an actual responsible leader.

Heppens many times to me in doing group assignment. Not saying I am responsible, in fact, I probably not. But I do understand his point in several ways.

Still no match for Blake the Twin Spears, slayer of 100 four dukes. As expected of Blake.

Is this following the light novel? Rather than the WN? Probably, since I don't remember in the WN to be this much drama about his role.

In the first place every corporate slave in the world works harder and doesn't even get 1% of what he has, so his drama about the King role is nothing less than a bad joke.

Btw, I bet his ability would work on the corpses~ 💀👻

That's normal, I think. Probably somewhere approaching 9 out of 10 times, the manga or anime will be following a light novel rather than the web novel. I have a suspicion that a number of the "Why did the manga change this from web novel?" complaints I've seen were just ill informed about what the light novel changed, but it's not like I care enough to go verify that on a case by case basis.

@StarGasm That's the secret to my success as a chronic insomniac. Tire myself out by any means necessary.
