And for just a single frame we were teased with the idea that he somehow grew his eye back. But nope.

Should also note that Usami's death scene there wasn't his funeral. Don't expect Tsurumi's faux-care to extend any further. People acting like Ogata was proven wrong are barking up the wrong tree.
