Am I the only one who feels like the entire guild building has only two receptionists handling a mountain of requests? Is everyone else just hiding and dumping their workload on Alina? Talk about exploitation. Is there no labor union?

Anyway, thank you for the translation.

In hindsight what she should have asked is “no overtime no matter what”. Work not finished today rolls on to tomorrow, backlog should be the guild’s business not the employees. Employees clock out on time no exceptions. Any backlog is not the employees’ responsibilities. If the guild has trouble due to it, they can hire more employees, change their system, or whatever other solutions.

Since her position is described as somewhat similar to civil servants / govt employee in our society, this should have been a possible outcome. Though, one that destroys the plot. Maybe for the final ending. Haha.

Depends on the company. Usually, backlog is, in fact, part of the employee's responsibilities. It can be argued that it's the job of the employee to ensure there is no backlog at all.

A company is just a collective of employees, after all. While she can't be blamed for there being backlog, it's still part of her job to handle it. The Guild should definitely hire more people because backlogs are bad no matter what.

You know what, it was nice to read a chapter without Jade. He really is the worst thing about this manga.

It's stated when the guildmaster visited the receptionist, that he rarely appears there. This means the MC is likely working at a smaller guild branch. That said i still think it's cruel based off the crowd to only have 2 employees. But the MC did mention it's policy for senior employees to make the younger ones work overtime. So it's likely a case of 5-10 receiptionists dumping it onto the mc and her junior during busy periods. Iirc that scene showed a few more employees/receiptionists.

Girl 😖 you jinx your self by saying that all the time.
Also is this not the festival when Alina awaken her Giant God's Skill?
🙆 Expect more overtime and something more extra this time.
Its the Anniversary of The Executioner.

WoW withhelding information about the Demon Gods when they know adventurers are actively searching hidden dungeons to find them (not knowing what they are) is one of the most bad thought choices to handle that information
