because shes in shock and maybe sepsis. shes also been out long enough that they were preparing to perform triage for her dismemberment. Weve already seen that Antimagic completely drains Serina's magic and sends her into shock.

I don't think she really meant that. She definitely wanted Serina to at least support her though. I'm sure if Serina protested, she'd go along with it and the feeling was she expected that from Serina since she believed their feelings were the same, which they kind of already are. Eventually they will be (once Serina stops being dense) but for now it's tough scenes. Still the idea is she doesn't consider that "marriage" legitimate anyway because it's not.

At this point, Serina needs to look into other countries to defect too. We can talk about how dense she is 'til the cockatrices crow but, fact is, she doesn't deserve any of this crap.
