Seeing how yuri manga are one of the most commonly cancelled manga series, the japanese market customer base tells me that is NOT fucking true.

Eat up your isekai slave girl slop you incel pieces of shit.

That's just your bias. Manga are cancelled left and right every week, including isekai. You only see so many ongoing isekai because there is a shit ton of them to begin with. Not to mention the isekai audience wouldn't bother with yuri so they don't have any effect on this one being axed.

The most likely reason for a particular series to be cut short is that it can't compete with other series in the same magazine. They axed it because they already have a replacement lined up. And whether Japan is LGBT supportive country (it isn't) has no bearing on this either. People just buy what they like for their own entertainment, and there are so much too choose from, so there will always be losers in the game.
