That being said, hes obviously pulled a Dryad spirit from seeing his vision and seeing his power related to plants. Power of a Dryad can vary so I cant say if its powerful or not. Best case is the Dryad is a demi-goddess, as well as dryads can also have physical forms. So basically the story is, if you dont pull a wind, earth, fire or water spirit you're automatically considered a failure ? Is that the grounds ?

It didnt really seem interesting tho, But its 1 chapter and I can give it some more time.

I never understand how in fantasy mangas, if someone doesn't get a "normal" power then they are useless. Like even if you think about it for more than 2 seconds if they are not within the boundaries of battle mages than they are a support mage. Any army that has more support will win against an army with no support. Not a good 1st chapter tbh.

Finally, a new fantasy manga that's not Isekai, but that wouldn't be banal enough for today's readers, so they breakout the overused "he doesn't fit into one of our arbitrarily defined categories, so he must be weak, but really, we just can't measure how awesome he is" MC introduction trope.

Still, I'm looking forward to see how his OP powers develop. A plant mage would be seriously awesome. He's like a walking cash machine with all the money they could make with him helping with agriculture. He's like walking fertilizer, and could probably grow some pretty tasty wine grapes or something like that. Or grow plant-based defenses around a village, traps, mining, etc. Hell, he could probably have plants like vines or roots take down an enemy castle's walls.
