True. If there's a glimmer I can see, it is that MC will redouble on the rule to never get close to his actress, which will strain his 'ship with Honjou. This is frustrating because it's a controversial plot line to delay the romance. "Will they/won't they" tension is a staple of the genre, which fans love to hate. It doesn't feel good to see trauma as the reason "they won't."
