I'm so tired of protagonists who neurotically obsess over the original story or whatever they were incarnated into.
Like, dude, just by existing in that world the whole idea of a preordained fate no longer makes sense. Doubly so when you consider each person is an actual being and not just an npc with set dialog options. By obsessing over it you are essentially removing others agency as proper beings. Fuck the story, unless there's some kind of causality in effect that forces a specific outcome, the OG plot should only be used as a rough road map, otherwise its just shitty writing to force some contrived ass drama later on.
