Thanks for forcing yourself through this. That Italian Succubus is still the best-worst thing I've seen but that made it all the more amusing haha. To be honest though, creativity with the translation was probably the only thing keeping a lot of people reading, so definitely a good move.

That's even worse, the protagonist is forced into prostitution and abused in the first chapter. No wonder the previous translator abandoned that manga.

There's actually world building about the whole thing in later volumes. The whole burning at the stake incident was instigated by the church and they put her in the brothel like a bird cage. The story itself is more about found family, fulfillment, and the inheritance of will rather than porn.
