• Marianne gave a hug and comforting words to Yuika. Yuika was less shy (this is more patching up her character).
• Meisa had defended Kent against slander in the past, amongst other cut scenes, so they were slightly more close originally.
• Marine wasn't at the lodging, it was Meisa and Amanda Kent hugged.

That guy at the end (who pestered Kent before) is Pedel, the middle aged adventurer who likes to manipulate and use people for his own advantage.

That's where diving into the novel comes in! We are at chapter 69 WN here (nice!) Main differences from this: No dame character, maid was never recruited, Kent has a ton of kobolds, the skeletons, and 5 lizardmen only as his familiars. And Yuika... let's just say the adaptation rewrote half of her scenes to make her more likeable.

Is Pedel the guy Gilik teams up with later on?
