Really makes you think what the hero would have done if if he just blew a kids arm off and crippled him for life over a test.

It has been implied that Helmios paid attention to and tested Allen due to the prophecy from the Elemental King.
So he knows it would probably work out somehow (he didn’t know how though) and due to this if something went wrong the Elemental King and the elves will assist in resolving it. (any more than this would be spoiler)

Was gonna defend the hero saying he maybe have the elf medicine that he mentioned laying around so it can cure Alen later but now that I think about it...

It looks like the Hero legit went for the kill as he was surprised Alen manage to survive. Dude is ridiculous strong and basically a maniac, I mean sure hero is supposed to be like this saviour type of thing but come now at the very least he need to be reprimanded for his action or is it not matter since Alen a commoner or are they can't actually do anything to the hero so he can do whatever they please.. if so.. man....

God, that just scratch my inner chunni so much.

Three things came to mind:

1. Awesome threat against the king!

2. The hero mentioned, how the demonking managed to still escape his reach in matters of power. Maybe he did acctually reach him or nearly reached him and became a threat to the demonking, but the demonking had a nasty trick up his sleeve. A theory: What if the demonking can boost his and his underlings power by raising the difficulty setting? Maybe the conflicted started on easy, but the side of DK started to lose, the tides turned against him, but he found a way to turn all over again, by manipulating the magic-system of this world. His side got the upper hand yet again, but the humans gained stronger talents and magic in return and a much stronger 5-Star Hero was born. DK's side would have started to lose again and he put everything onto a gamble: Finding the next hero and killing them, before they becomes too strong. Well, on the last part: Mission failed.

3. There is trouble in paradies. See how tearful and joyful Berserker-Swordgirl jumped MC? And you definitly also saw the panel filled with Axeboy's frustration. A applaude Axeboy's actor abilities. I thought he definitly should have a thing for the girl after they trained with each other for so long. It would have surprised me, if not. But than, after they all reunited, there was nothing. Not a hint, I can remember right now. Until now. He has got me fooled. I really though he was cool with the situation. He isn't.

He's not frustrated romantically, he's upset that he's still not able to surpass the MC in strength despite having the "better" job class, even after clearing dungeons together.

The fact that the MC was still able to go toe to toe with the Hero after losing his arms shows Axeboy how much of a gap there is in their abilities. Axeboy would not have been able to force the Hero to use his special attack even once, that tells him how much the MC was holding back against him in their sparring sessions.
