to be honest, isn't it less common to have a fully confirmed reincarnation between a cast of characters like this? Usually it's either told to only one person or kept a secret to take to the grave, but we have a potential cast of descendants in this regard that can make for interesting characters (well, that aspect I'm not sure will be utilized). I kinda like that we're starting this early then, and there's still things to explore beyond it anyways. And I feel like the author would've made equally convenient plot points either way, if he didn't have a convenient cult to back him up.

also, imagine if miia ends up being the antagonist of the story because of abandonment issues with her parents lol

Tbh the author started dropping the ball for me from the reveal of a Alice having reincarnated by the Holy Sword onwards, after that the pacing is just wrong and the characterisation of literally every character dropped off a cliff and has become very unlikeable, I can't stand it anymore. So yeah, I've dropped the series completely and won't read any more of it, unfortunately.

It's actually kind of cool how both Iris and Alice exist at the same time. Because Iris is already old enough to develop her own personality, when she synchronized with Alice spirit/memories, Iris sense of self/individuality still exist.
