Hey thanks for the explanation! When I was looking at the raws the spell had kanji with katakana and deepL was like "Wtf is this". So I tried to just guess from the way it sounded to me. It's nice to know it wasn't some "made up" language xD.

You were probably looking at furigana (katakana) which is basically the 'how to read this'.

In a more practical usage, it's for people's name. For example, the kanji for Spring can be read as either Haru or Shun so knowing which way to read would avoid you accidentally calling someone by the wrong name.

In fantasy setting like this, it's just maximum chuuni level of having spell with essentially 2 'names', one for what it does (kanji) and one for glorified translation (the italian here)
