Wow. There is just enough realism to draw people in, but it so freaking biased and the girl is incredibly naive. This is the first chapter so if it is propaganda it would keep things seeming reasonable before mixing in the really racist stuff in future chapters.

Unfortunately, knowing the current affairs of protesting and the opinionated corporate shills that every news station has become the stuff in the first chapter doesn't seem to far-fetched in my country. I don't know about Japan though.

Well they did a good job of showing the reality in so many places:

Peaceful demonstration = violence
Speech you disagree with = hate speech
Journalistic bias for one side

As for the Japan specific stuff I have no clue, especially being pressured from five sides.
Is it propaganda? Yes, but so much stuff published today can be labelled propaganda.
Is it entertaining? For the moment. Just take everything with a grain of salt.

I’d prefer it be a bit classier, it’s easy to tell that exaggerations were made and that the author is trying to convince the readers of his viewpoint, but I like the art and want to see where it goes.
