It's chitin. Never had a ladybug or somesuch crawl on you? Same thing, just bigger! Apparently it does get a little bothersome with stag beetles or rhinoceros beetles because they have small claws at the end of their legs, so they kinda latch on to your clothes and don't easily let go. Which might make some people freak out.

This was a nice chapter. Not every manga needs to be full of blood and gore to be entertaining in my opinion.

Makes we wonder what will happen once her senpai goes to college and she is left behind. I have been wondering the same with the manga called Nagatoro for a while

The highlight of most romantic manga/ manga with romantic elements is the "getting together".
After that, there are three options:

1) Their relationship keeps developing and their relationship keeps changing

2)Their relationship gets stagnant due the lack of development after they get together. (The final blow for 90% of all romantic manga)

3) The manga ends after they get together.

For this manga option 2 seems most likely.
