It makes basically no sense but I almost expect this to be half of Angelica, or something. We know that the Valkyrie was "struck down because she was a servant of demons", which was implied to be falsehood, but it could be something like a weird half-truth where she was possessed. That then begs the question "who's Haruka's Angelica then", but she could be Angelica's soul inside another body. After all, iirc current-Angelica is in a body which Haruka used some sort of skill/ability to regenerate, she was just a skeleton when he actually found her. So maybe he like, restored a fake body to her soul, but this is her actual, for-real body.

Well, not a skill, but...

Back in the days he made Angelica wear a slain Living Armor when she was still a pile of bones. That thing transformed/adapted to her so she had some sort of shell. Later he gave her some items. IIRC it was a ring that brings good luck and happiness, a bracelet and some necromancy jewel. If I'm not wrong, the bracelet completely destroyed the curse she was under and the gemstone had control over life and death which is what gave Angelica a flesh and blood body.

So, I wouldn't say it's just your tinfoil hat mumbling here... there is certain credibility in that.

Look at what the found in that coffin: two omnious items called "Soul Necklace" and "Wizard's Crown"? I would say it's highly likely that some evil undead magician (could be a Lich) swapped bodies with Angelica for whatever reasons yet to be explained.
