It would've been fine too if they portray or imply as if they did it and hinted to readers as if that's the case, but I guess they really just removed sex all in all. V2, Day 38, lunch. That's the point of divergence between the manga timeline and the LN/WN. And the latter two (yes, the LN as well) tell the same story of what happens after Haruka makes a different choice (or, rather, permits a different choice to be made toward him) than he does here. (c296 of the WN is probably the point where the other worldlines begin to slowly diverge, i guess.)
