Honestly, I don’t get how people can look at this trope of “territorial lesbian friend” only to go to the people that call it out and try to explain it away. Its like trying to explain away those thrown out the party tropes, sure MAYBE the author is doing something different, but realistically this is gonna be the same generic trope a lot of people don’t like. Best author could do is try to explain why the friend is so clingy or have her quickly move on, till then it really ruins the mood of what was shaping to be a chill romance manga.
