Realistically, if it can be spread via kisses, the virus is present in the saliva, so there are other ways of spreading it besides kissing. The most likely vector is food, i.e. the father's cooking dinner and he gives it a taste-test to see if it's seasoned properly, unwittingly contaminating the food in the process.

This is such an extremely sophisticated comment for this website (in my experience) hahahaha!
