I mean, the alternative is an entire arc or two of the two main characters separated or Maho alone trying to make it to the top. IMO this was the easiest way to keep the core premise intact. Because without Fiona there’s not really anyone to react to the “real world“ solutions in a comical fashion. Maho alone wouldn’t be as entertaining.

Fer real.

If we got even 10 chapters of Maho separated on her own from Fiona, everyone would be comlaining "where's the yuri" so...like, this keeps the comedy front and center and doesn't split up the main lead pair.

Last chapter was a terrible time to go on a hiatus, but at least we're back. New raws drop the 19th.

It happens. At least they didn't list a next chapter date and then kept pushing it to the right at the last minute. That happens quite a bit. But good things take time.

Well that sure was easy.

True but the unconventional approach made me love it all the same. People in these worlds think too much by the book so having a different approach can really yield different results.

Also I did just want to see more of them together so all's well that ends well.
