the contrast between Heidi and Johann is funny but also understandable. Heidi gets to experiment, and seeing the different results from different combinations are exciting. on the other hand, Johann's work is akin to assembly line worker who repeatedly does the same thing over and over again. that kind of stuff will crush your soul. i hope Myne can find some solutions for him someday
If Johann can't figure out on his own how stupid it is to make every
sort by hand, he deserves to have his soul crushed a little.
On the other hand, if what we see him doing with his little hammer is cutting new
punches (for a different font-size or something) or punching
matrices, that's exactly the kind of precise, detail-oriented work he was begging for when he first met Myne. (So be careful what you wish for, I guess ?)
