the anime is much more kid-friendly so it can be shown/sold in more countries.

so ofc they skipped out of the fact that she was used as a prostitute by an old fat man who is too big for his britches.

or another example was when Gil insulted Myne, in the anime, Lutz only knocks him over and pins him to the ground.
In the novel and manga, he sits on his chest and beats the living heck out of him to the point he bleeds from it.

Sure its not tomatoes, so she is not being pelted becouse of bad stuff, its because of a festival that's in a future chapter...
