Note the web novel in English does not go up to chapter 139. They people that put stuff after 103 on NovelUpdates split up chapters into pieces and number them incorrectly. Their most recent release is 118p2. The number at the front is worthless and you should only refer to the number at the end.

The manga is better than anime (because it's more beautifully drawn, while animation is rather cheap and so-so) or LN (the heroine is just too unlikable in that version, reading all her thoughts is pretty annoying).

In the beginning, the MC is a spoilt brat. And it stays that way for a while. And she's a book fetishist. Still an interesting story with solid world and plot.

I would just like to say, as someone who never cared too much for cake on its own, I've always overlooked pound cake because I always thought it'd just be slightly richer cake without icing. But this manga bringing up pound cake every once in a while made me decide to buy some at the store a month or two ago and now I get pound cake whenever I go for a grocery run. @burmn123 I'd say the anime is fast instead. Both the manga and anime differs slightly here and there, but the problem is the anime packed so much into one episode that it already outran the manga, so even if we somehow catch up to the raw (chapter 19), we'll still be behind.

ngl I sympathize with the orphans, have they never went out in the world before?? Are they stuck in the orphanage then are stuck transition into gray priests?? Does that mean it's like a prison pipeline without the support from the outside world giving them an option other than priesthood?

Hmmmm I wonder if the MC will bring about reform in the orphanage to let them experience the outside and learn trade like dukes daughter did for the commoners.
