It seems like there's some manga that people dog pile on complaining about the ending, just because it's not the ending they wanted (ahem, Prison School - Hana is a perfect match for MC and they deserve each other, deal wiv it), or the ending is a bad ending (in the unhappy / a game's "bad end" sense).

This is not one of those endings. This was awful writing, and a waste of a fine mangaka's talents. 100% deserves all the ire it's earning.

I did like the chapters that took place at Yamada's apartment. And that guessing game she played explaining the difficulties in her life.

And then the story just goes "well nvm all that, I'm out" mic drop 🙄

... ..... well, I liked it. I didn't have any expectations with this one, so I was just along for the ride. I don't know, maybe I'm just smitten by the artwork, because I liked Yamada's face and expressions a lot. But overall? I found it to be a fun, short read with an interesting melancholic/sincere twist near the end.

From the ending, I imagine them getting together through a few more twists and turns that we'll never see.
