Like, she's gonna miss the most important romance of her life, but sure 🤡

The irony is that Shun is the one who inspired her. His decision to go into sports-related medicine and really try made her want to really give her all at something herself, so she could be more inspiring/upstanding as his senior.

Plus, I'm guessing most medical schools are similarly far away, so I wouldn't be surprised if part of it is so she could be closer to the big cities. And closer to where he'll probably end up going to school in the future. But she is a third year and is going to be graduating soon, so she has to decide on her future first in the meantime.

Volume 5 did fairly well and the previous ones are being reprinted. This could go on for 2 or 3 more volumes if the present timeline leads to a confession.

Not every manga ends because it was axed. Sometimes the author has reached the point they themselves are ready to say goodbye to the characters and do something new.
