Thats a doable distance to visit on the weekends and stay over a night or two.

Its ironic that the reason chokki aimed so far is because of Shun's influence. Cant wait to see her realize "oh shit... were gonna be really far and I can't sniff him through a call"

The irony is that Shun is the one who inspired her. His decision to go into sports-related medicine and really try made her want to really give her all at something herself, so she could be more inspiring/upstanding as his senior.

Plus, I'm guessing most medical schools are similarly far away, so I wouldn't be surprised if part of it is so she could be closer to the big cities. And closer to where he'll probably end up going to school in the future. But she is a third year and is going to be graduating soon, so she has to decide on her future first in the meantime.

I think inspired is a good way to put it but also the most optimistic one. It did seem like she did feel pressured to finally "do something“ instead of "only“ walking home, almost as if she owes it.

Not saying it is bad or anything but it certainly feels a bit random. She also seemed particularly determined this chapter with pretty much no sadness or real disire to tell him (it might‘ve not come up in those months if he didn‘t bring it up now) and maybe use that remaining time for more romance? Idk. Calling it out of character feels too much but it certainly was a bit weird.

What a let down. Author completely ruined what started as a nice story. Next up: (1) sudden drama in a rushed ending, or (2) nothing getting resolved, some kind of promise of being together later. Just the most stupid cliche either way. It's such as sudden shift too, this went from a 10/10 to a 1/10 so quickly with this lazy writing.
