100% is injury
A friendo did boxing, was his first real match & instantly fucked up his shoulder for life. Needed surgery and it still gets dislocated easily and from my understanding he cant really train it.

That sucks, have a friend of mine who dislocated theirs too, but his just needed to be popped right back in and rest a bit.

Some people definitely aren't built for contact sports unfortunately, much less combat.

Is what I'd like to say but unfortunately I'm actually a lil bitch a hates getting hurt lol.
This is bjj propaganda but with grappling the most hurt I ever get is feeling suuuuper gassed after a roll

Running is so fun!!!
My left knee doesn't like it though. I'm young enough to push through that mild discomfort but I feel like if I do it'll bite me in the ass in 10 years.
My left hip hurts the day after I run outdoors, but it doesn't bother me if I run on the treadmill 🤔

You could try other types of cardio, such as cycling or brisk walking
