to be honest its not even about the romantic interest, its just weird how the spoilers stated that hes being taken in in their home to take care of an adult that is completely unrelated to them at all.I find it hilarious how everyone has PTSD from other romcoms whenever another character gets added to the roster
if I were a mangaka I would make it a rule to always add a tanned gal-o with bleached hair midway through just so he turns out to be a total bro
Now youve reminded me of ANOTHER great series that hasnt been translated for yearsI feel the need to point out that the character on the cover of the magazine (p. 16) is definitely Araiwa Kazumi, the main character from Cooking Papa.
I guess the 'dead inside' look has its appeal (bc apparently ti was a makeup trend? to give yourself dark circles on purpose), so like a male ver of Motoko from watamote cept he's not (so far) an otaku versus just burnt out from work, but i imagine outside of the japan anime/manga art style that irl not that many japanese ppl would be into that look, when's the last time you saw a jdrama actor that had the 'gyaru' look that wasn't specifically an adaptationBut i feel him attractive when i see him at the front page and more when i see the eyebags.
Is my type emo!?
i mean, they prolly do need more friends to share a meal with, or maybe the author just wanted to put in a chara that's a bit more diff than their current friends. considering this'll get a live jdrama adaptation in the future, it could be a touching story to 'reach out to someone struggling' and the theme of "no matter how things can get, you can still enjoy a hot meal with people" or so kinda cheesy clicheWhat a strange chapter or should I say arc in general? I didn't quite get his purpose in the story, and I'm not interested at all. Chihiro being this worried about him is definitely weird. Kenta asking her to visit him was even weirder. Reading the spoilers here doesn't make it any better, though. Please, begone.
even without the spoiler i don't think there'd be any worries , don't have the screenshot on hand but i just remember that one panel where the husband was babbling and chihiro was basically like "i wanna make out"not this kind of manga. You can read at the first page already saying he will be close with kenta
ppl tend to be sensitive to it b/c there's a handful of 'popular' (?) ntr manga going around as well (although i feel like they'd let it slide if chihiro's female friends semi-flirted with her jokingly)As a game programmer I am so happy to find a realistic game programmer appear in a manga. I am also familiar with image editing, often you need to do things outside of programming. And sometimes people ask me to do something and I found out there is no programming needed at all.
I am surprised in the comments people talk about possible romance between them. So being married means you can’t be kind to another opposite sex anymore?
Oh, good eye! I read that manga before but missed the reference without your help. You think they'll cameo the guy from "Kodoku no Gourmet" at some point as well?I feel the need to point out that the character on the cover of the magazine (p. 16) is definitely Araiwa Kazumi, the main character from Cooking Papa.
Maybe when My Chemical Romance was at its peak lolI guess the 'dead inside' look has its appeal (bc apparently ti was a makeup trend? to give yourself dark circles on purpose), so like a male ver of Motoko from watamote cept he's not (so far) an otaku versus just burnt out from work, but i imagine outside of the japan anime/manga art style that irl not that many japanese ppl would be into that look, when's the last time you saw a jdrama actor that had the 'gyaru' look that wasn't specifically an adaptation
given the menhera and jirai kei trend, i wouldn't be surprised if there was a male equivalentMaybe when My Chemical Romance was at its peak lol
It's prolly the 'introvert friend that needs to be adopted' to an extreme, tho i guess I wouldn't consider Kenta/Chihiro to be that 'extroverted', even if they're not as socially awkward in their workto be honest its not even about the romantic interest, its just weird how the spoilers stated that hes being taken in in their home to take care of an adult that is completely unrelated to them at all.
