It's quite common to assemble the main characters' party in the first few episodes. This manga just speedruns it a little.

this is just purs stupid, there is just no fucking way one of the strongest members in a guild as big and powerfull as that would not be aware of how strong the monster is, and there is no way in hell she would not be able to beat it, she is not some arrogant high on success noob, she is suposedly a experienced veteran, i seriously hate it when they do this, take a supposedly strong veteran and make them obsenely stupid retards who would never live past day 3, just so the poser MC can show off, and if he actually cared he would have given her a weapon upgrade either by upgrading the one she had or give her a better one, he is a blacksmith, not a frontline fighter, he need to do his fucking job and hand over weapon and armor upgrades to the guild members, starting with the strongest members.
