Why can't it be a different setting I'm SICK of this obsession with I'm not sure which century or country but 17th/18th century European yet otome game fake modern vintage type dresses, like Europe is the only continent with feudalism, the hair color = personality or whatever, typical reincarnation but a TINY difference

Ik this troupe is overdone, but it’s fun to see the fl just enjoying life, and it’s super cliche and dumb but it’s so cute, it makes your heart melt.

The story is basically the same as the abandoned queen except the one the heroine wants to be loved by is her own father. And I honestly hate how it's written. This 'everything is a misunderstanding cause MC is clueless' is so overused, it becomes a boring joke to look at. Maybe the author should have copied The heroine reverse than hourglass instead.
Tia isn't any smarter but she at least acts like someone with common sense, she doesn't try to be hostile against someone who has the power to kill her anytime.
Also the fact that MC is so quick to get over her 10 years obsession makes the character and story itself feel soulless.

I have to say, this story is lacking in some areas, be it in the characters or the plot, or that weird diversion into that stupid romance with the casino guy (forgot his name, that's how forgettable and trash that side plot was), but I'm liking her.. umhh... common sense...

Ok, but for real the story is good and at least she didn't fall into the stupid trope where the MC is smitting with the scumbag and trying to change them or some shit, leaving the other male lead who cares hanging out to dry like in reverse harems, when you know who's going to be the ML. Well there are some exceptions, but not a lot tho.

And she still has some of her wits about her after those past 15 chapters were she's in mad love with this guy (casino man). And the plot diverts off into this side story... so that's a +.

The story seems interesting because of the spirit issue, but it feels like a more silly read for when you don't have something else to read but want to read something (my case tbh). It focus a lot on side stories and, as much as those are great to see, this one keeps a weird pacing + a 100% focus on the side issue + a very long investment of chapters on those mini-issues.
The thing with the casino romantic interest could be presented and solved in like, 3 chapters that work timing well. To me it felt like dragging an issue that feels little relevant to the plot.

As for the remark from @chikikuto : honestly, to me, I see more parallels with WMMAP (even pointed by the scans) than to any of the stories presented. Also, as much as there's the gruesome "she was killed etc." time travel plot point, it seems to aim at a much softer point than The Abandoned Empress and The Villainess Reverses the Hourglass.
The first one
just threw violence abuse and torture all in the beginning only to later make the dude who did all that be "the most acceptable love interest", but still yea story with heavy underthemes
and the second one is literally meant to be
a twist on the trope that the person will suddenly change their future by being a pure saintess and that being 100% good will always beat evil!!!
which also doesnt seem to be the aim of this story. I'd say this one probably aims to be even lighter than WMMAP tbh.

This is funny and cute 🌼
I like the fact that she just brushes off the stereotypical revenge plot and actually goes for her own happiness and a simple way to escape. This seems like a more realistic path, we are not all fit for deep schemes and vengeance...
And the fact that she is actually experimenting with this stupid playboy made me laugh ^^
I think this story is a bit more original than the usual ones, it is not as good as others which are on the top of the top for me, like miss not so side-kick or when the villainess loves, but it did not let me completely indifferent either !

I still don't like the dad, now you care about her when she stops caring for you? Where have you been for the past times when she was suffering, huh?

@Aralc I haven't read WMMAP so I can't compare but TAE is the most well known romance webtoon with the MC being a tragic misunderstood villainess type and lots of other webtoons follow the same template.
There are various similarities, they are both longing for love from the men that had them killed in their past lives. Both are knight lady of the house. Both are extremely naive when it comes to human relationships (friendship, love). Both try to distance themselves from the men but turn out those guys aren't completely bad as readers thought at first...
Tbf no one cares if this webtoon copies that webtoon's ideas as long as the authors know what they are writing and not adding too much cliche or stupid overused troupes because it will look like the authors think readers can be dumb too

@chikikuto the point I was trying to make is that this is already a genre full of cliches, and the stories you pointed out also are full of them (and probably they feel more "original" to you because they have been introduced to you first), so it's a bit of a stretch to call those stories "copies".

I don't get why you all are complaining about the casino guy? If anything, he's the most "not mentally challenged" by the plot character I've seen in a very long time.

He is
kind of the introduction to this new world she is discovering.... it's about her growth on her feelings, discovering new feelings and learning about them.

Also, don't compare this just for its troupes , this one is about personal growth, can someone show me another one were the focus on her is so obvious and bare as this one?
