I got to respect the man, until this point of the story he has proven not going back on his words. As a young adult that I'm (25), I too must be cautious when approached by some woman because of looking quite young. I had numerous cases of getting confused with a guy of 16, 17 and being approached by young girls. It doesn't matter how beautiful some of them are, it is immoral. I know sometimes it is hard to say no to a beautiful girl when she is trying to charm you, but I'm better not running any risks. It is not uncommon girls of 14 to 16 lying about being 18+ (and some of them can pass as older pretty easy). Not today jail-kun.

@TitanAnteus She is manipulative. She is deliberately doing something to control her surroundings, to get what she wants. That's almost the definition of 'manipulative'. The very fact that she already had improved, since she could fix it fast, yet still submitted faulty data shows she's manipulative.

As for being immature, I kinda agree. But the two are not mutually exclusive, but rather go hand in hand. Children are the best example of 'immature', and most children are manipulative as fuck.

Ι've gotta say though, given what I've glanced from the comments, y'all are dealing the boss a really shit hand here. Sure, she rejected the MC, and with a huge lie, at that. But the MC was definitely coming on too strong (assuming she's really a virgin at her age, being invited to bed like that is not the kind of offer one would take casually) and, if anything, this disproves what people keep shouting about her "manipulative" nature. If she really was manipulating him, wouldn't she have found a more plausible reason to reject his advances, convincing him that he's still in with a chance rather than shooting him down flat?

That's one. Second, I really think people are blowing the whole "wants him because somebody else got to him" thing out of proportion. Remember, she first started moving on him BEFORE he rejected the consecutive business trips and before all these signs she brought up (going home early, checking his phone a lot) became this pronounced. She might have felt that the kouhai was getting closer to him and forced her to move faster, but that's perfectly normal when you realise you like someone. I don't think she's the best option for the MC right now, and I definitely believe he's gonna end up outgrowing his crush on her before the story moves on to the finish, (whatever that may be) but I doubt she's as horrible as y'all try to make her out to be.

She's manipulative as hell. Not saying I don't understand her initial rejection; MC was being damn pushy. But it doesn't excuse her current behaviour, or her continued advances after the rejection.

I feel like the most of commentators as very biased or jumped to conclusions. Many treated senpai as thot just because she is almost 30 and still not ready to accept sexual advance? Women have right to refuse, right? Though her stated reason for that burned the bridge rejection is the most stupid reason ever, no objection there. There are as many more proper choices as stars in the sky, and she chosed the worst choice for both of them.

Although there are yet no evidences to disprove manipulation theory, which is entirely possible, there also no supporting evidences too. Imo, she is really single all this time (at least since the first chapter) and her rejection is either dump excuse or she did intended to reject him, but later changed her mind. I'm prone to the former, as she is seem to genuinely be inexperienced in courtship.
