If the challenge really is "self love," then I think Abi actually has a fairly good chance of being eliminated here. In this arc so far, we've seen a lot to indicate that she's got a very fragile ego. If she's not in control, she starts to fall apart, and Junna's current opposition to her is creating a lot of those moments, so even if she is able to recover, the number of times it happens very well could be enough to matter.

Fuwari's message being simply that she loves Junna is so sweet, and definitely hit JunJun's feels. She'll probably seal that page in plastic for all time.

It's sincere simplicity raises an interesting possibility though...
What if Fuwari is as much of a stalker as Junna and she never noticed?
Exactly. I was gonna say that it was a very direct way for her to put her appreciation of Junna. Really makes you think.

Junna showing some non-crazy human side for once. I wonder how deep the backstory of why she turned out the way the did is. Her family life at least seemed alright.

That would be a killer plot twist, and to be honest I wish it turns out to be that way because Fuwari is too much of just a basic goodie two shoes so far. There's gotta be something special about her to get Junna that obsessively hooked on her.

Actually, the whole reason Junna ended up at the survival show is that Fuwari uploaded a cryptic video where she made the voice movements for "See you soon" while flapping her arms and Junna somehow connected the points to it refering to the show. We also know Fuwari was the least popular one from the group and that Junna never met her but she did upload photos of her stacks of merch, so Fuwari could have easily noticed she had a huge fan online, obsessed about her and uploaded the cryptic video knowing that only her most obsessed fan would catch the meaning of it so that she could meet her IRL (though I feel this last part is a bit of a hard sell haha). Fuwari was also the one that talked to Junna first by bumping into her. How suspicious...

Or maybe there's nothing there after all haha, but it is a fun theory. I do think that at least the member that apparently got tangled into scandals and that Junna assumed was the cause for the breakup will show up at some point. Her design is too distinctive and appears too much on chapter 1 to not show up again.

I'm 100% more invested in Junna's love life than I am in the idol contest thing, though I suppose in her mind all her romantic feelings ARE idol-related feelings.

There's been a light contradiction with Fuwari's character so far, one that I think is there on purpose. She's presented as a fundamentally nice character, to an almost naive level, but is also the person who was able to notice a drone camera falling down and reacted to it immediately, which implies that she might be paying attention to small details around her all the time, even off camera, and that's a characteristic of someone who's very perceptive, potentially even deceitful.

Also, the qualities the producer wants in the final members of the group would make them all obsessive to the point of insanity. If Fuwari makes it there then we know what kind of person she probably is :meguusmug:. Junna, Fuwari, Lisa, and many others are all going to be shooting asterisks out of their eyes by the end.

Lets goo! That expression from Junna at the end looked very confident. Looking forward to what a now self-loving + monster Junna has in store :meguupog:

… my girlfriend used to be in that situation, the one student whose mere touch was treated as something disgusting by her peers. She also grew up being used to playing with manipulation because it was the only way she could socially survive.

It was a very short flashback for Junna, but that hurt a fair bit. I kinda understand why she genuinely shed tears seeing Fuwari's message, a validation by the only person in the world she thought was real. Shit hit like bricks.

Thanks for the TL. Excited to see what play she's got up her sleeve now.
