This kind of talk always happen every time villain got tragic backstory episode isn’t it?
Think of repeating something from other threads. Knowing his reason doesn’t mean he became innocent or must be forgiven. He had his choices.
Also people giving judgment should understand, you don’t always just punish pure evil, but also people who became like that because of the situation surrounding them (and they do deserve to be punished). Better than pretend to not see, wash your hand, and go to sleep telling yourself that the person you punished is naturally evil.
I'm like... Am I supposed to feel sorry or sympathetic for them??
It’s not. Villain tragic back story episode is for understanding more about what happen instead of just simplifying things and not see what underlying situation there is.
And if the approach is just bad people ==> punish, there will be no awareness of any underlying situation need to be fixed, or understanding how people can get hurt and turn bad from how you act to them.
He clearly took after his mother.
And seeing the situation, guessing she’s not the first wife either. The two older prince’s likely from another wife.
So... guessing she’s also being compared as inferior, and she’s forcing her son to give her bragging material.
Wouldn't it be funny if he manage to break her contract, but it result in the Phoenix being fully unleashed since it no longer has to restrain its power not to harm Brigitte?
iinm, the mechanism is that spirits hates that tree.
Stabbed with that thing means all spirits, good and evil, finds you too repulsive and the contract is severed.
The reason they can’t exploit it to do gacha pull reset using that is because the effect is permanent. No spirits would want to make any contract with you anymore.
