Didn't Pii-chan eat a giant magic fireball a few chapters ago? Didn't it cancel out a tornado?

Why couldn't it just.. idk.. eat the magic fire the prince cast on the pile of books that were there...

Am I missing something?

Perhaps is because is not magical fire. The big fireball was a spell, but this was real fire.
