Anyway, the demon lords were incredibly supportive and wholesome in this chapter. They were even sorry for how Nagatoro acted in the beginning.

The serie will end at 20 volumes, its a good number. I'm not against a spin off of them as adults but I think most of what could be told has been told.

That over the course of over 7 years isn’t anything to scoff at either.

Fun maybe short spinoffs with the other characters would be nice once in a while.

Calling it, not actually axe, Nanashi who decided to rush the ending, just look at the latest extra chapters with all the exhibitionism, he can't take it anymore, he has to go back to hentai

But in all seriousness, it is weird, the series seemingly still doing well enough, so I won't be surprised if he's able to jump to another magazine or something, at least I hope so

I'm thinking they're ending it there with the main series, and possibly a spin-off of what happens next?

Nek minute "Please don't tease me senpai!?" where the roles are reverse in dating life and paisen teases her instead.

So yeah, possibly a "Main story end. sequel story start" like the other one did with their massive time skip.

p.s. correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't nanashi (774) been getting less and less extreme in general? like even their hentai is becoming more vanilla. (which isn't a bad thing btw.... they drew some messed up shit early on :| )

from memory one of their last hentai was a nagatoro/senpai dynamic (not nagatoro or senpai obv).

Like they went from extremely fucked up, to still very fucked up, to kinda fucked, then a bit fucked (vampire one) then good ol vanilla wholesome content. (this is around the time they started doing nagatoro properly)

I guess this is a decent place to end the series. Both Nagatoro and Senpai had their character development, are now dating, and had even shown they can handle conflicts in their relationship (with their friends' help, but that's what friends are for).

Of course, the author could introduce new stuff to extend the manga, but at the point where we are now, I won't have the feeling that something is missing if it comes to a close.
