Yami is an 8/10 ragebaiter, excellent work author I would like to have some more slop please.
Hm, not sure how to feel about the implications of this when combined with another post claiming he's aiming for tragedy with this story.
I mean...In a sense we already reach the part of "reveal something unseting" with that twist in ch21 and subsequent chapters no?
I don't like this chapter, cause like, it ruins the bait and switch if you're reading it chronologically and makes it too obvious
@vipguy64, Fryght and story645 raised a valid point. Is there a solution for situations like this? I was wondering if it would be possible to organize the chapters into volumes and include this one as chapter 21.5.Yami lays it out here though that the triangle is the tragedy.
She's already mentally preparing for losing Yuu or Hikari, very possibly both - is probably part of her reasoning for why she didn't say anything to Hikari when she figured it out. ETA: and if the flip Aya/Yuu happens, then Hikari probably loses one or both of her most important people.
Also while this is technically 13.5, wasn't this written after the big twist chapter and shouldn't it go there? Here it'll completly ruin the impact of the climax for folks starting now.
Surely while we at it, someone that has the power to do so also change that big ass yami volume cover that is being used for this manga lol@vipguy64, Flight and story 645 raised a valid point. Yeah hopefully the twist in ch21 is it really cause i just dont know what other possible route that the author can go to if he wants another rugpull of some sort. Like both hikari/yami being the final girl is still very much possible lolI mean...
Yes, so far. Hopefully when the story's over, that will have been 'the twist.' With the amount of (melo)drama on offer since, is that enough to meet the author's definition of 'tragedy?' Totally possible the actual rugpull comes next.
All mangas follow this pattern. The cover always features the most recent volume.Surely while we at it, someone that has the power to do so also change that big ass yami volume cover that is being used for this manga lol
Like imagine theres a new reader of this manga and seeing yami as the cover while for the first 21 chapter the focus of the manga is on hikari
What is "edgy" about this? This is childlishly edgy, not smart edgy.
I mean, that's her tragedy as of 13.5, sure. If the author's idea of an overall tragedy is that a shocked Hikari flees the school over a misunderstanding, runs into traffic, is hit by a car, and gets put into a coma - Kimi ga Nozomu Eien 2025 let's go, then I am straight-up rage quitting this series. god, fuck that show so much...Yami lays it out here though that the triangle is the tragedy.
Yeah, and add "(again after having him forced back into her life unexpectedly)" after "losing Yuu," considering she's finally doing okay-ish now after going through that once already. And for the telling Hikari part... holy crap, even if you wanted to, how would even start? I don't think Yami's gonna be able to get a few drinks in her ahead of time or anything. She's already mentally preparing for losing Yuu or Hikari, very possibly both - is probably part of her reasoning for why she didn't say anything to Hikari when she figured it out. ETA: and if the flip Aya/Yuu happens, then Hikari probably loses one or both of her most important people. -snip-
Yeah i get that but just find it a bit frustrating really how the new reader of this manga wont really get the shock factor we all got in ch21 cause surely reading that first 20ch that focus on hikari while the cover is an entirely different girl is a bit of a give away of how the story will go lolAll mangas follow this pattern. The cover always features the most recent volume.
Remind me what that has to do with her willingly fucking up her own relationship? "Wah my childhood sucked" is a bullshit excuse when you loaded the gun and fired it into your own footHow is it her fault that her shitty parents fucked up her childhood?
If the author's idea of an overall tragedy is
Yami's inclusion is the romance.wtf is Yami's inclusion doing for the romance here?
No. I'm going there: The biggest problem wasn't the baffling secrecy or fucking Shinji, it's that Haruka didn't even get an otherworld adventure out of it. I'm still mad!The story had other problems, but let's not go there.
