Aya said it so casually, but the last 2 pages seem to betray her real feelings about her family situation. If it's not just a one-off joke it feels like some sort of setup for future drama, since it'd be wasted detail storytelling-wise if not. I'd love to be wrong though, even though I'm already seeing dark clouds on the horizon with an ominous count of 400+ comments and a crapton of 1 ratings. We'll see...
