I did a very similar thing for similar reasons at a slightly younger age, so I relate to her a lot. When you're depressed, you want to cut contact from people, even people you love, because you don't want to take them down with you. It makes sense at the time, and only with time and recovery does it sink in how self-sabotaging it is.All right I'll be fair to her. The decision she made is beyond stupid but you have to remember she's a teenager & going self destruct mode made more sense to her than anything else. Plus you have to factor in she grew up in a toxic environment so she is broken girl that will need to seek therapy or some form of help. The story fits real life really well & it doesn't break the immersion. You can disagree with me if you want (that is fine with me) but ask yourself this: what is the stupidest thing you did as a teenager that made no sense now that you are out of high school?
Oh ok. So there was some time after breaking things off with Yuuwhen she realized that Hikari’s childhood friend was Yuu. Thanks. Still don’t like her much it’s a bit more clearJust to be clear, Chapter 13.5 takes place more than a year after Yami ghosted Yuu.
Why?fuck childhood friend yami has to win
First time I see someone arguing for "tell don't show". Nevermind that we've had 8 chapters of events effecting two out of three persons involved.should have been explained during dialogue where it can actually effect the persons involved
Based on this promo, it seems that the extra chapters are venue-exclusive bonus books.13.5 is from volume 1, and the pajama party chapter was also included as chapter 0 as far as I know.
If volume 2 actually contains a chapter 29.5, it's probably something else.
I think the big issue is that this drama arc came out of nowhere in what was to this point a fluffy slice of life manga. If there was ample foreshadowing we would have looked forward to the revelation. Instead for a lot of people it's been a painfully long backstoryStill like it, still dont get the hate.
Most people would feel awkward telling their first love (who is also their childhood friend) that they found someone else, even if that love was unrequited.I understand he was a stupid horny teenager, but like, this happened without her knowing? Like he loved a girl, got swayed super easy, then never bothered to tell his supposed close friend he got a girlfriend? And no one in the school learned about this and started a rumor? This series baffles me and confuses me to no end, I don't understand how everyone in this story is mentally dying and can't connect more than 2 dots at once.
