Is it flip flopping? Yami hurts people who attempt to get close to her, it’s like her thing.
Fair enough, but I was more referring to how, without explanation, she would go from sympathetic (caring for her mom, despite being shouldered with a burden she never should have had to deal with) to tragic (breaking up with the guy so he wouldn't have to deal with it too, to this bullshit.
.
.
Then again, in the process of writing this, it occurred to me that the decision of "Will the guy put up with Yami's mother, too?" (even if only by proxy) was never Yami's to make.
She might think she's protecting Ta-kun (I can't remember his full name), which could be considered noble or selfless, but she is undeniably taking the decision away from him. It's his decision to make, but she doesn't want to let him make it for her own ultimately selfish reasons, be it she doesn't want to put him through it, or she is afraid of being rejected because of it, or she has a martyr complex and is convinced she can't accept nice things, like help and friends.
.
Whatever the reason, she is being manipulative of the people around her and that's wrong.
.
Wasn't a Yami fan, but started to feel sympathy for her.
Now I can't feel much for her, having seen how she treats other people.
