Well, in the world of manga you could say they're basically the 'same face' — but I feel like this is more of an interpretation of the vtuber world, where we don't actually know the real face behind the avatar. That's why the avatar and IRL character are drawn with models that are, essentially, the same face. It's similar to that anime series 'VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral after Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream' too.

TBF if someone drew my ugly mug in manga style, I wouldn't recognize myself.
But when we get manga within a manga... they could at least change the styles
