Rereading a bit, I guess the last few chapters is commiting that having Coln disappearing is much better than having Coln dead, or in other words choosing option 2. Also having the father attacking a stranger child may help a ton regarding police.

Although I'm still confused why Mary knocks the window now when the father is there. Is it in response of the abuse sounds last chapter? Sometimes the sequence is mixed so I thought this is also the case, even though it doesn't really make sense.

Riko is MVP in this series, all her action are really helpful. No matter if she has maximum jealousy. MC and the victim are just dumb ...

Probably closer than what I was expecting, which was for Mary to find Colin dead in her room and then her dad imprisons her as Colin’s replacement. I’m glad it didn’t go down that route.
