Of course Chrome has to lose from a storytelling-POV. She has nether big tits nor is she flat-chested. Where is the justice in this?!??!?!

IJustMadeThisToComment, wait for me. That way, right?

A few things:

#1 Internet Explorer is not the same as Edge, in fact, I have to swap to IE 12 to use eclectic old apps that don't work with any new browsers and it keeps telling me to "upgrade" to Edge.

#2 Bing isn't dead, and could arguably be said to be more relevant than Edge, if only due to the fact that it's apparently the best porn search engine which is something Microsoft does not like to advertise.

#3 Edge IS Chrome in the near future, because Microsoft gave up on spending money improving Edge's engine, so they're just taking Chromium and sticking an "Edge" skin over it, basically.

#4 While Edge is actually a good browser, that stupid looking symbol that looks like a lowercase e with a slicked back haircut and a smirk gets to me, and makes me not want to use it.

#5 Internet Explorer's far from irrelevant, made fun of, or useless, if only because it's the only browser that a lot of corporate and medical web-apps work on, so it won't die for ages because it's too expensive and hard to port those web apps to a new browser. Well, at least until it's too late or almost too late, and the damage from waiting so long's been done.

Edit: Also, this comic's gotten way too melodramatic for my tastes, it's not fun anymore. Also, Google and Microsoft both suck as companies, don't care about this "climactic" fight. "Modern and User Friendly" That's not Google anymore. "Change things for the sake of change and make everything worse, then shut down apps / programs because 'Oh hey, we got bored', let's make a cloud gaming service nobody asked for, then shut it down in 2-3 years" is what Google is now.

Microsoft? It's kind of a mix between the stodgy old company it used to be, and some of the worse aspects of what Google is / was, like "Hey let's change things for the sake of change and break everyone's workflow, and add a feature that literally might cause you to miss important e-mails because you can't see them anymore!"

My idea, why they are changing everything all the time is, because it they wouldn't the (real) open source and privacy orientated communities would close on them. They make money by collection information, which includes too much information about the people as a whole and as individuals, which they shouldn't collect, as it jeopardizes freedom and democratic life styles. But I digress. They know people don't want that and a lot (not sure if the majority) would take on alternatives, when given.
As a lot of their products are published open source and a lot of their products can be used and manipulated by open source products (think youtube and a browser using tracer-software blocking addons or even page'n'script-source rewriting addons like grease monkey back in the days), imagine they would rest for a year or so. Privacy addons would just cut all the crap, that would track users, and android versions, that are much less invasive into your private matters from the getgo and that are easy to install on smartphones and tablet, would appear. This happens right now, but those versions get screwed over by constant changes.
Under the guise of security fixes (that might actually be a good thing) and all those new features (they are forced to drop old ones for the new ones, so that functions and the gui don't get cluttered with ways to use them) they run away from that. Google steadily writes new stuff to keep their control over their software and keep those pesky bug(...Sorry, I meant "useful" and "fun" part of the google community with sooo many "nice" ideas...) away from their stuff. "Ohhwww. You wrote that nice feature? Wonderful. Too bad we move away from that in the next version or rewrite everything that makes it work. Hah! Progress!"

Not familiar with Edge's scene where the sword is created, although it's probably some reference.
But Chrome's light wings and straight charge reminds me either of Code Geass or Gundam SEED (Destiny maybe even)

Wow! This is something. Huge bump in art and great sakuga moments. Excited for the finale!

Also let me take a moment to say how good of a villain Chrome-chan is. Her faces are superb. I just love to hate her.

And is she using "threads" to attack? 🤣
