kind of crazy that the mermaid kingdom is sending their most dangerous fugitives there and are now opening a school, a very interesting choice. also the queen forcing platy has nothing to do with mc, and it's his land. the mermaid royalty are already imposing on him so that's pretty ballsy to try and force him to allow them to open a school.

Why not just make a school by the castle Orkubo built instead of right by the farm? They will have more paperwork and diplomacy to do but it would be better if they wanna have races getting along instead of just dumping everything into MC's land.

I thought ghe queen would be cooler. She is kind of immature with the way she acts and flaunts her power...even trying to demand changes in a land she has no control over. Just bacause Platty, a fully grown, married woman, with a child on the way, who no longer lives at home or depends on her parents to survive, can't say no to the queen, doesn't mean the MC has to be told what to do and how to do it. At least he has his own reasons for wanting a school built, so it was his call in the end.

Carp sucks right now, hopefully she'll get better.

I do, mildly. This is purely based on her clear dissatisfaction of MC saying no seperating. Well, that and Zoth's comment on how Carp planned to make the campus her playground. That could come from other things as well. Maybe she just doesn't like having to do more work than she initially thought. Maybe the new campus idea was just a front in her eyes so she could continue teaching Angel and eventually have her be a graduate of the oh so prestigious school. I'm sure future chapters will show what her true intentions are.



On another note, since MC is willing to have a school on his lands, thinking about his child's and any future children's education, he'll likely need teachers for that. Don't we already know a certain sensei that would be perfect for the role?

In Sweden (and many other places) there's a saying, "Man lär så länge man lever," meaning, "You learn as a long as you live," which is often turned into, "Man lär så länge man har elever," which means, "You learn as long as you have students." Most teachers know how true that is. This one doesn't.

I think Platy has the bigger say in this matter. Not that she can stand up to her mum. Or wants to.
