@Thrymr MC believe his strength all come from being lucky in his skills. So take away his skills and he isn't the least bit skillful in term of combat.
The thing is that the MC view skills as a form of burrowed power, while the world natives view skills as an extension of themselves instead, which explains why the MC doesn't view himself as THAT strong.
