you know, this situation makes me think of war veterans or prisoners. It ain't as grandiose as an isekai story but those vets that are lucky enough to return are usually not smoothly welcomed back into society and deal with stigma or having no one to rely on. If this wasn't some ecchi and japan daughter sex nonsense but rather a melancholy SoL/drama it would have been an interesting concept to follow.

Since he still has magic, skills, and abilities he should try making a ring or something to wear that lowers his strength to that of a normal person. That or get a job as a wrestler or something requiring high strength. Seems he got summoned to a world with rude and ungrateful people who kidnapped him, used him to fight battles they couldn't themselves for 17 years, and as thanks only left him his memory after sending him home while making it seem he shut himself away for all the time he was gone without asking if he wanted to stay or not much less giving him any money or items as payment. Oh well, could've been one of those black company types that used an item or magic to enslave him, use him up until he either dies or don't have any use for him so sell him to someone else, and/or expect him to do as told just because they say so and that he's the one who's inconsiderate despite all the help they've given him by providing room and board while completely ignoring fact they kidnapped him and are blackmailing him into doing their dirty work. In any case would've been funny if had cut through the meat, cutting board, and counter despite trying to carefully cut just the meat. Looking forward to when blond shows up. Hopefully will get explanation on why having Paternal Skill makes father-cons so interested in him despite not being their father. Be nice if one of them thought of a way for him to earn a decent income or better with his skills etc. rather than temp jobs that require him to hold back a lot to try to avoid messing up like breaking plates due to being too strong.

Idk, it sounded like he was pushed to shoulder the task of saving a foreign world then guilt tripped to thinking everything was his fault and then got sent back like a disposable after a job mostly well done minus the necessary sacrifice for strangers.
God or whatever higher power didn't even reimburse him for his deeds in saving an ungrateful world.
I mean, would be nice if they can save the soul of his loved one or even return him to the youth and time that was lost.
Do he have any magic to restrain or control himself better?
Or maybe create a new weaker vessel while his main body.. get put away in storage or something?
