I'm guessing that while Ange is made unconcious during the inter-dimensional transfer, people in charge also seal some dangerous spirit into Ange's body without her knowing. They want to send the evil spirits into MC's place, like garbage disposal as the parallel dustbin world.

It's bad translation but I don't know context to fix it.

ok so for those that need clarification

Angie lied about when she came, came a week earlier than she said and hid in the old man's room until he died, after that she got japanese books to learn the language and then she went to the mc's home

before she got sent here the high priest loaded her body with evil spirits which then possessed other people and might have taken over her body at the start as well, this was either to kill the hero or to get rid of the spirits by sending them to another world
the mc realised all this, so he now believes that she was in on this plot and her target is to kill him when he lets his guard down during sex
doesn't help that she did use the appartment of the dead old man to store her old clothes and reacted like if it was her first time there in this chapter (could be a misstranslation)

Probably. Ange is unconscious on the flashback page.

thanks for the clarification, but the whole thing is still a bona fide dumpster fire lmao

why did she hide in the old man's flat and didn't go straight to the mc? and why did she lie in the first place if she wasn't knowingly part of the plot to kill the hero? i get that they rush manga adaptions from novels, but this stuff is among the worst stuff i've seen. really like the art though.

Can somebody explain?
Guys at the other side had a guilty conscience about the way they treated Keisuke, but no remorse. Believing that he could come back anytime for revenge, they decided to be proactive and, disguising it as a "belated reward", they basically sent a bomb to take him down (they filled a Holy Maiden candidate with tons of vengeful spirits, many of which hold a grudge specifically against Keisuke before sending her to his side). He believes that Ange is in cahoots with the bad guys and that she's trying to honeytrap him to have him let his guard down so that the spirits can kill him.

As far as the WN has been translated, which is one arc and a bit beyond this, it seems that
she's in fact, just another victim of the plot, and she's completely convinced of her in truth cover story (and she's in fact in love with Keisuke).

she was most likely in the old man's flat at first because of them either fucking up when they sent her or just to gather information first
and as for her lying, she doesn't consider it to be a lie since she was most likely possessed during that first week and has no recollection of spending it there (confused about the clothing being there though since that doesn't make sense if the tl is correct)
