Not hard to see why. This author suffers like so many other with using a situational ability once or twice and forgets to pull it out now and then when it would be useful.

Then again I should be grateful that he doesn't. Mindfuckery is the cheapest crutch in an author's tool box. Breaking it out to often just utterly kills the story for me.

I've reread the chapter and the part where he accuses Kayoko of being childish is the definition of "pot meet the kettle". Ryoji was most likely handheld throughout entirety of his otherworldly adventure. I believe even in some parts of the manga it was mentioned that he did as was asked. So, he basically had a guide telling right from wrong since day one and as far as the manga has shown us so far - He hardly tested anything by himself. And the part of him trying out his killing intent is a great show of that.

Meanwhile, there is nobody to explain these things to Kayoko. And I imagine the same is more or less true of other adventurers as seen by the priest guy believing to himself that it's alright to be hit a [Killing Intent]. Now after rereading the chapter, I can clearly state that my problem lies solely with Ryoji, he is far too immature for his age and can't comprehend how other people see things. It'd be fine if he stayed away from everyone and enjoyed power tripping, but since he chose to meddle with other people's affairs. I hope we see him mature, otherwise it looks to me like he will do more harm than good in the long run.

Yeah like HE knows that higher level kiai can kill, but does anyone else? Like if a 11-level difference can cause basically heart attacks, shouldn't that be something he should explain in a video?
