It's labeled mature/erotica for a reason. This series is mostly about erotic scenes with slaves and a side of world building and SoL to make it a more cohesive story.

If you have made it this far into the novel, you have no one but yourself to blame for encountering tropes like slavery, or half a dozen chapters parts of foreplay and sex scenes...
