the issue with a talented artist adapting a godawful amateur wn is you get completely empty chapters like this. trying to simulate an economy with a highschoolers understanding in a manga that has fuck all to do with it. sole reason this manga is popular is because of the ecchi art but the artist cant move on cuz of the dumbass wn beats lmao

Each metal unit scales up by a factor of 100.

1 silver = 100 nars
1 gold = 100 silver = 10,000 nars
Also, 1 platinum (aka "white gold") is 100 gold = 1,000,000 nars.

The bulk cost of the mirrors was 350 silver = 3.5 gold (35,000 nars), but Sherry haggled it down to 3.0 gold (30,000 nars).

Including the "buy 10, get 1 free" part of the offer, she managed a 22% discount. Not too bad, compared to Michio's cheat mode 30%.

Roxanne's initial price was 600,000 nars = 60 gold, before the cheat discount factored in, for comparison.

The base cost might be due to the skill required to craft one with extra charge from monopoly they hold.
Oh and it being a luxury item since there's already bronze mirror as cheaper alternative.

Makes me wonder if the author did lean into our history of mirros regarding that, since there also was a monopoly of crystal mirrors from 1450 to 1665 on the island of Murano and were very hush hush on keeping their monopoly.

In any case, a nice touch.
